Hillside Cemetery
Location
Hillside Cemetery is located halfway between the villages of Caix and Le Quesnel on the D41, and is accessible via a signposted road off the main road.

Historical Information
Le Quesnel village, which had been for sometime in Commonwealth hands, was captured by the Germans on 27th March 1918, but was retaken on the following 9th August by the 75th Canadian Infantry Battalion.
Hillside Cemetery was made by the Canadian Corps in August 1918.
The cemetery contains 108 First World War burials, three of them unidentified.
On 9th August 1918 the 2nd Canadian Infantry Brigade advanced from here
towards Warvillers crossing the area of Manitoba Cemetery, on the ridge
