Diaries and Regimental accounts are not just pieces of paper they are a record of people.
What I have tried to do here is provide a follow up using the various lists of those killed to see if I can found out what happened to the people mentioned in the account of the fighting.
This is not an easy task and for some of those mentioned it is impossible to be sure because so little is given.
Where I am reasonably certain that I have the man’s details correct I have listed them.
